Join us for a bold and inspiring event where CARE student teams unveil innovative, research-driven proposals for transforming urban life-rethinking digitalization, food systems, trade, and urban living through the principle of doing better with less. As climate and social pressures escalate, sufficiency is gaining momentum, challenging outdated assumptions about growth and consumption. This event showcases how Paris can lead the way in redefining resource use-ensuring sustainability, equity, and resilience for all.

After five months of collaborative research, international student teams will present their visionary strategies for embedding sufficiency into Parisian policymaking. Grounded in global case studies and field visits, their proposals tackle real-world solutions in key policy areas where rethinking resource dependency is both.

The event is co-organized by the World Sufficiency Lab and the CARE Programme  (external link)(Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Empowerment) (external link) as part of the first-ever Sufficiency Summer School, and hosted at l'Académie du Climat (external link)
