The Swiss Sufficiency Lab  (external link)(SSL) is the first National Sufficiency Lab (external link) (WSL) established by the World Sufficiency Lab as part of its Sufficiency 1st Consortium (external link).

This launch marks a significant milestone in the effort to advance sufficiency research, policy innovation, and public understanding at the national level.

To support the creation of the Swiss Sufficiency Lab, the World Sufficiency Lab team has produced a dedicated report titled Swiss Sufficiency Gap: Geoeconomic Metamorphosis Ahead. This report provides an in‑depth analysis of Switzerland's sufficiency landscape and highlights the structural transformations required to align the country with sufficiency‑driven pathways.

SSL is hosted at Empa's Urban Energy Systems Laboratory.
