Leandro SALUD is a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs student at the University of British Columbia, specializing in resources, energy, and sustainability.
He currently works as a Student Project Associate with the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Climate Solutions, where he is drafting engagement strategies to support the province’s industrial climate policies.
Prior to his graduate studies, he worked as a Sustainability Consultant at ENGIE Impact, advising clients across the Asia-Pacific region on their renewable energy and climate-risk strategies.
Through his master’s program, Leandro is interested in innovative climate policy approaches emerging in Canada and the European Union, with the long-term goal of bringing these insights back to the Philippines and Southeast Asia - places he considers home - to help advance climate resilience and sustainable development in the region.
