Cédric JEANNERET is a senior expert, attached to the Industrial Ecology Executive Director of the energy operator Services Industriels de Genève (SIG), focused on the forecasting, innovation, prospectives, design and evaluation of energy transition programs in Geneva and various cities and Swiss utilities.
At the political level, he is a member of the Grand Council of Geneva for, the Parliament of the Canton of Geneva in Switzerland.
He is also active in organizations such as négaWatt, swisscleantech, the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee), the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects, as well as in local citizen collectives.
Since the 1990s, Cédric has been working as scientific and academic advisor for communication and local energy agencies, and has created several start-ups and NGO's related to energy efficiency, renewables, clean mobility and sustainable development.
Cédric completed his electrical engineer training with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Worker and a postgraduate Master's degree in Energy at EPFL.
