Dr. Marcel HÄNGGIhas been responsible, since 2025, for the sustainable energy consumption programme of the Swiss Energy Foundation (SES).
In 2019, he launched the "Glacier Initiative," which ultimately led to the adoption of the Swiss Federal Climate Law in 2023.
Before joining SES, Marcel worked for more than twenty years as a journalist and is the author of several books on various aspects of the environmental crisis as well as on technology and society.
